ABOUT
I started as a volunteer in college, helping at conferences as a way to learn and grow as a creative when I couldn’t afford a ticket. That experience sparked a love of working behind the scenes, connecting with the team and guests, and eventually led me to become Volunteer Director at Circles Conference in 2019. My greatest joy is creating an environment that keeps volunteers coming back while delivering a smooth, helpful experience for attendees, speakers, vendors, and sponsors.

Level 1
I provide the structure and systems so your team isn’t starting from scratch. We’ll walk through the needs of your conference to create a clear plan, communication schedule, forms, email templates & spreadsheets informed by real-world conference experience. This virtual support equips your team with proven tools to confidently build & manage a successful volunteer team. I’ve already done the trial and error so you don’t have to.
This level is ideal for conferences that want a tested framework, not guesswork.

Level 2
This level builds on Level 1 with a more tailored, hands-on approach. I attend your conference in person to evaluate your volunteer program & create a plan based on what’s actually happening in the moment. Being on-site allows me to talk directly with volunteers, attendees & vendors to see in real time what is & isn’t working
This level is designed to uncover gaps you may not be aware of & provide a clear, actionable plan to smooth out any wrinkles before they become bigger problems.

Level 3
This level includes all of the planning & resources from Level 1, with added hands-on support. We’ll create a plan together, then I’ll take over building your volunteer team by managing recruitment & email communication remotely.
An optional on-site visit can be added for an in-person evaluation, while your internal team continues to manage volunteers on the ground during the event.
This level is ideal for conferences that want experienced support behind the scenes, without fully handing everything off.

Level 4
This is the all-inclusive package. After our initial planning meetings, I take full ownership of the volunteer team. I’ll handle all email communication, forms & spreadsheets in addition to managing the team on-site during the conference. You focus on running your event, while I make sure it runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This level is designed for show-runners that want someone to take the volunteer program off their plate entirely. You can focus on your event & know it’s in good hands.
WHAT SETS ME APART
My ability to retain past volunteers year after year is a major accomplishment. The nature of volunteer work can be unpredictable. No matter how many rockstar individuals are on the team, jobs, school, and family can sometimes interfere unexpectedly. I plan for the inevitable last-minute changes or emergencies so the team still runs smoothly.
By focusing on connection and value, my past volunteers become part of the family. Their commitment to excellence sets the tone for new team members joining the crew. Each year, my spreadsheets, email templates, and schedules improve, resulting in a well-oiled machine - no micro-managing in sight. I am always in awe of the independence my crew demonstrates.
Year after year, I am proud to share feedback from attendees and speakers, who consistently tell me that our volunteer team was a helpful, friendly, and positive part of their conference experience.

Level 1 starts at $1,500. This gives you all the tailor-made tools, templates and planning support your team needs to run a volunteer program confidently, without guesswork. Pricing for Levels 2-4 varies based on the size and needs of your conference.
